Ana Erandi Gonzalez was born into a family of musicians. In 1993, she began formal training in voice with operatic tenor Flavio Becerra in Guadalajara, where she also sang contralto in the opera chorus conducted by maestro Becerra and concentrated her studies in operatic singing and acting. In 1997, she moved to Toluca, Mexico, and began to sing professionally for private events with small instrumental groups, as well as with the choruses of the major symphony orchestras in greater Mexico City. In 1999, Ana moved to the United States, and for two seasons she sang with the Florida Philharmonic Chorus. She relocated to Redlands, California, in the summer of 2001, and her interest in the performing arts continues to grow.
